Detective (Kyle Chandler) is investigating a missing of Sidney Hall (Logan Lerman), a young college student, who has come to fame many years ago, when he wrote a novel about the death of one of his classmate classmates (Blake Jenner). He gets into instant limelight with his novel but it has danger consequences too. His relation with his girlfriend Melody (Elle Fanning) is also hit by this fame. One day Sidney gets missing without a trace. After almost 10 years, Detective is searching for Sidney as he thinks he is linked to series of arson.
